What each status means
The six release statuses in detail: what each one means, whether you can edit it, and what happens next.
A release always has one of these six statuses. For a big-picture view of the journey, see The release lifecycle; this article explains each status on its own.
Draft
You're preparing it. It's the only status, along with Requires changes, where you can edit everything freely.
It hasn't been submitted to anyone yet. From here it moves to In Review when you click Submit for Review.
In Review
You've submitted it and the UXEM team is reviewing it.
You can't edit it while it's in review. From here it can move to Distributed (if all is well) or to Requires Changes (if something needs fixing).
Quality Control
An extra check within the review process, before the release is approved. For you it works the same as In Review: it's still with the team and not editable.
Distributed
Approved and sent to the platforms, or already live.
It's not directly editable: if you change anything on a distributed release, it goes back to In Review to revalidate the changes before they reach the stores.
Requires Changes
The team has sent it back to you with an explanation of what needs fixing.
It becomes editable again. From here you can fix it and Resubmit for Review, or Return to Draft if you'd rather pick it up later.
Taken Down
Also called Dado de baja. The release has been removed from all platforms and isn't available for distribution.
It's not editable and can't have platforms selected. It's reversible: when you restore it, it goes back to In Review.
