Channel verification is the process that consolidates your main YouTube channel and your "- Topic" channel into an Official Artist Channel (OAC).
What you need
- An active YouTube channel of your own (with content and activity).
- Your music distributed to YouTube from UXEM (that's how the "- Topic" channel is generated).
- The URL of your "- Topic" channel — the one YouTube creates automatically, with your name followed by "- Topic".
- The URL of your main channel — the one you manage.
The process
- Open the channel verification request in UXEM.
- Fill in the artist and channel name, and the two URLs.
- Submit the request and complete the payment.
- The team handles the consolidation with YouTube.
Statuses
Pending payment → Payment confirmed → In review → (Additional info required) → Approved. It can also end up Rejected or Cancelled.
If additional information is requested, the request waits for your response.
