A label is an entity assigned to releases as the record company.
Creating a label
From Labels in the menu → Create. Fields:
- Name and description.
- Contact details (website, email, phone, address).
- Social media and logo.
- Country, genre and founding year.
Public or private
- A private label can only be used by you.
- A public label can be used on other accounts' releases.
Using it on a release
In the release's first step you choose the record label: from your own labels or the available public labels.
The label is locked once the release leaves draft. Changing it afterwards requires permission to manage approved labels.
