Create and manage artists

In UXEM you always release under an artist, and one account can manage several.

Creating an artist

From Artists in the menu → Create. The detail of each field is in the getting-started article about setting up your first artist.

You can also create an artist on the fly while adding artists to a release or a track.

The artist list

Shows all the account's artists. From there you open each one to edit it.

What's specific to each artist

• Its profile: name, type, members (if a group), biography, links.
• Its releases and its credits.
• Its website (if the artist qualifies as a primary artist).

Data per artist

In analytics and in the balance you can filter by artist to see each one's figures separately.

Groups

If an artist is a band or a collective, keep the Group Members (Legal Names) section up to date: it's what's used for credits that require a legal name.
