Create and share a release link
Where the pre-save/smartlink is generated and how to publish and share it.
Every release has its pre-save/smartlink. The slug (the end of the URL) is generated from the release's name.
Where it's managed
In Pre-Save Management, in the menu. There you see the table of your releases with a link, with their status, domain, number of platforms and number of clicks.
From each row you can:
- Copy the link.
- View page.
- Edit the settings (the Pre-Save / Smart Link section).
Publishing the link
For the public URL to work, the link must be Published. Turn it on in the pre-save settings, General → Published section.
In that same section you can change the Slug (URL); it must be unique.
Sharing it
Share it like any link: social, bio, newsletter, ads. It's the same before and after the release, so you can start spreading it as soon as you have a date.
Legacy links
If a release had a link assigned by hand before this system, the Regenerate button creates the new one. The old one stops working; the panel warns you before continuing.
