Select platforms

How to choose which stores and services your release is sent to, how genre compatibility works, and why a platform can appear disabled.

In the Platform step you choose which stores and services your release is sent to. You need at least one to submit it for review.

Where to choose them

It's the fourth step of the wizard: Platform → Platform Selection. Each platform is turned on or off with a toggle.

How they're organized

Platforms are grouped under main platforms. Each main platform also manages a set of stores, internal services and associated sub-services.

Thanks to these integrations, the catalog reaches over 250+ platforms and digital stores: streaming, downloads, social networks and content monetization.

Genre compatibility

To see compatibility you need to have chosen a genre in the first step.

Depending on the genre, you'll see one of these notices:

Select a genre first to see platform compatibility.
✅ All platforms support the selected genre(s).
⚠️ Genre Restrictions: some platforms don't support that genre and appear disabled below, with the label Incompatible with.

Quick actions

Select All Compatible — turns on every available platform that supports your genre.
Clear All — turns them all off (asks for confirmation).

Use them as a starting point and then adjust toggles one by one.

If a platform appears disabled

A platform can show as disabled because of genre incompatibility or because it's not available to select at that moment.

If you need to distribute on a platform you can't turn on, contact us.

The distribution summary

At the end of the step, the Distribution Summary lists the selected platforms and their count. If none are checked, it shows No platforms selected: you won't be able to submit the release until you choose at least one.

Keep in mind that actual availability also depends on the territories you chose: a platform may not operate in every selected country.

Changing the selection later

You can change the platforms while the release is in Draft or Requires changes.

If the release is already distributed, the change goes through a new review. A taken-down release can't have platforms selected: it must be restored first.
