How royalties work
From a stream to your balance, step by step.

This is the full journey, from someone playing your music to the money reaching your account.
The steps
- Consumption. Someone streams or downloads your music on a platform.
- Report. The platform accumulates that activity and, later, sends UXEM a report with the period's figures.
- Loading. UXEM processes the report and creates the balance lines for your releases.
- Commission. UXEM's commission is deducted from each line's gross income; the rest is your net.
- Statuses. Each line moves through four statuses:
- Pending — report received, not confirmed.
- Confirmed — the report's final figures.
- Available — UXEM has received the payment from the platform; the funds can be transferred.
- Paid — transferred to you.
- Payout. The UXEM team runs payouts periodically on the available balance.
No self-service withdrawal
You don't have to "request" the payout. Just keep your profile complete and a verified payout account; UXEM handles the rest.
