UXEM's commission
How the commission is applied to what your music generates.
UXEM applies a commission on what your music generates through its distribution.
When it's applied
Before the amount reaches your balance. The commission is deducted from each report line's gross income; the rest is your net.
How you see it
Both parts appear in your balance:
- Total earned — the gross.
- Platform commission — the amount deducted.
- Net earned — what's left for you.
Your percentage
The percentage applied to you is shown in your profile, in the "Current Commission" section, along with its source. It depends on your account's terms.
With automatic splits
If a release has an automatic split, the commission is deducted first and the split among participants is done on the net. See How the split is calculated.
