Understanding your catalog

What the catalog view groups, what each row shows, and how it's organized.

Updated 1 day ago

The catalog is the view of all your releases in UXEM, in any status: from the ones you're preparing to the distributed ones and the taken-down ones.

Where it is

In the Catalog section of the menu → Releases.

What each row shows

  • The release's cover art.
  • The title, with the version (if any) and the primary artist.
  • The type: single, EP, album or compilation.
  • The release's UPC (you can copy it with one click).
  • The current status.
  • The release's dates.

How it's organized

At the top there are tabs by status for quick filtering, each with its own counter. See Search and filter releases and Catalog states.

From each row you open the release to view or edit it, depending on what its status allows.

What it is and isn't

The catalog isn't a folder of files: it's the record of your releases as assets, with their codes, statuses and history. Each release is managed from there throughout its life, not just when you create it.
