Estimated vs. confirmed data

Why a month's figures can change when the platform's official report arrives.

Updated 1 day ago

Many platforms first send a preliminary figure for a period and, later, a confirmation report with the final numbers.

What changes

When the confirmed report arrives, that month's data can change: go up, go down or be adjusted.

Why it's adjusted

  • The platform filters out invalid or fraudulent streams.
  • Returns and refunds are corrected.
  • The exchange rate is recalculated.
  • Data missing from the first delivery is consolidated.

What to expect

  • Recent months are more volatile: they can move until they're confirmed.
  • Months already confirmed are stable.

And payouts

The royalties that are paid are calculated on the confirmed data, not on the preliminary figures.
