How long it takes to go live
The time between approval and publication in stores, and which window to plan around.
After approval, each store takes some time to publish the release. As a reference, the usual window is 2 to 7 days.
The two parts of the timeline
- Review — the time the UXEM team takes to review your release (depends on your account; see Review times).
- Platform processing — 2 to 7 days from approval until it appears in each store.
The Calendar step's banner uses both parts to calculate the recommended minimum date for your release.
On the release date
If you kept the recommended lead time and everything was approved on time, the release goes live on the date you set, at the configured time and timezone.
Pre-saves and links switch over automatically at that moment.
If you're tight on time
Choosing a date too soon shows a warning: there may not be room for review and processing, and the release might not go live on the planned day across every platform.
