Registering songwriters and works
Registering works and songwriters for publishing administration.
The publishing administration module has two parts: songwriters and works.
Songwriters
Each writer you administer. Details:
- Legal name.
- Affiliation with a collection society (PRO).
- IPI number.
Statuses: Pending payment → Payment confirmed → Missing details (affiliation / IPI) → Ready → Active (or Rejected). Activating a songwriter requires a one-time payment.
Works
Each song. Details:
- Title.
- ISWC, if it has one.
- The ISRCs of the associated recordings.
- The split among songwriters.
Statuses: Draft → Missing details (splits / co-writers / ISRC) → Ready → Submitted for administration → Archived.
Rules
- The splits must add up to 100%.
- Administered songwriters must have valid PRO and IPI.
- Each work needs at least one ISRC.
Once submitted, the work is in collection management. Later changes are coordinated with the team.
