Request a cover license on UXEM
The request flow, payment and resulting document.

From UXEM you can request the cover license for a song.
What you provide
- Original song title and original artist.
- Original publisher, if you know it.
- Original release year and original ISRC (optional).
- The details of your version (the cover).
- The master file of your recording.
The flow
- You submit the request → Pending review.
- The team reviews it → In review. It may request changes (it goes to Requires changes).
- If it proceeds → Pending payment: you receive a payment link by email. The payment has an expiration date.
- After payment → In process.
- On approval → Approved: a UXEM license number and an official PDF are generated and emailed to you.
Other statuses
- Rejected — the request doesn't proceed.
- Expired — the payment wasn't completed in time.
Keep the document
The PDF is the document that proves your permission to publish the cover. Keep it.
